How do I subscribe to the magazine?

Because Famous Monsters has switched to an annual format instead of a bi-monthly, we aren’t offering subscriptions at this time. But you can sign up for our mailing list and be notified when a new annual is up for preorder! These annual issues are about three times the size of our previous issues, and are released in October.

Do you accept returns?

I need help with sizing for my shirt.

I placed an order about a week ago and it says “awaiting fulfillment”. What does that mean? When can I expect my order to arrive? Is there an issue with my item?

“Awaiting fulfillment” just means that your order is still in our system and hasn’t been shipped yet! There are a couple of reasons why a particular order may take longer than others you’ve gotten from us. If you ordered a t-shirt, it may need to be custom-printed. This can add a few days to a few weeks onto the processing time of your order, depending on the volume of orders we’re handling. Our warehouse also does not operate on weekends, so this may add to the total processing time of your order.

I’m trying to check out, but the PayPal window won’t open or won't load.

We’ve heard this from customers on occasion, and usually the problem seems to be solved by using either Chrome or Firefox, or disabling your pop-up blocker.

Do you ship to my country?

If USPS ships to your country, then so do we!

I see that my package was shipped, but it hasn’t arrived yet. Where is it?

You should automatically get an email that includes USPS tracking information once we create a shipping label for your package. Once USPS picks it up from our facility, we can try to provide insight based on the same tracking info you have, but there’s not much we can do to affect what USPS does with it, and we recommend contacting your local Post Office if you have problems.

If you get a notification that your email has been shipped but no tracking information is available, it may be that the post office has not yet picked up the item from our facility. Notifications are sent out once a packing label is created, and tracking will begin once USPS scans the package into their system.

Why is shipping so expensive?

Our system automatically calculates shipping based on real postage prices via USPS according to the weight and dimensions of the item or items you order. We don't keep any money for handling, so whatever price you're seeing for shipping is almost certainly the actual price we'll pay for the postage.

How long will it take my order to ship from the time I place it?

In-stock orders normally ship within 4-6 business days. However, garments are sometimes custom-printed per order and may take up to 2-3 weeks to ship. Please note that if your order contains an item that is a pre-order, the order will ship in its entirety once all items are in stock at our warehouse. The same applies to orders containing custom-printed apparel, meaning all items will ship as soon as the garments are printed.

Please note that if you have multiple shipping options (i.e. USPS First Class and USPS Priority, or Free Shipping and USPS Priority), selecting Priority mail is not an express shipping method. This is just another type of postage that carries with it a limited amount of insurance, and USPS lists it as delivering in 1-3 business days from when they process it. We do not offer any express shipping methods. If your package is time-sensitive, please include that in the note on your order, and while we will do our best to accommodate shipping it faster, we still cannot guarantee it, and your item may still ship in the timeframe listed above.
